Apart from class room teachings, outdoor adventure activities play an important role in a child’s life. These activities create an environment which allows the students to take decisions. They also provide an opportunity for introspection, self-discipline, self discovery and creativity. Outdoor camping provides ample scope to design activities and exercise which bring out certain vital traits of individual character, such as one’s ability to adjust and adopt to changing circumstances and conditions.

They also develop a certain risk taking ability and skill  in alternatives problem situations. In this context the school provides regular tours and treks to build individual leadership qualities of bold initiative and enterprise. The school is a member of the prestigious Duke of Edinburgh's Award  Scheme, now named International Award for Young People. Our school boys took part in  the Indo-British school boys expeditions to Bander-Poonch and to Friendship  Peak in the Himalayan mountain-ranges. The students attend various  training camps in camp craft, hi altitude trekking etc. and qualify for the awards of Bronze, Silver, Gold Medals
