Biology, Geography, Nature Study, Electronics, Photography, Stamp
Collecting, Music, Cinema, Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme, Mountaineering
& hiking. Some them like Music, Art, Craft, Embroidery and Cookery specially
for girls are also very popular in the school. NCC is also an important
training active The school has the distinction of having all three wings of
Army, Navy and Air Force for boys and Army for girls motivates the cadets
to join the Armed
Forces.
Dramatic Arts-All
the Houses of the senior and junior wing present house shows in the school
auditorium by way of variety entertainment programme. This is one of the
unique activities of the school which is organized on a regular basis.
Tremendous effort and to it goes into ensuring excellence of presentation
and performance in the sphere of dance, drama and music.
Fine Arts-One
of the creative pursuits where a child expression is through the
medium of paintings, sketches etc. The students are actively inspired and
motivated to learn the finer points and nuances of line art painting
Special emphasis is aid on giving exposure to the junior school students
in imaginative drawing. They are given extensive practice in drawing. The
students use water colours, poster colours, crayons etc. The senior
students are also given thorough practice in portrait paintings,
landscaping, thumb pointing, spatula painting, spray and thread painting.
Music
The presentation
of the school orchestra on various occasions especially on the Founder's
Day function and the house shows earn the spontaneous and thunderous
applause. The students are imparted basic training in various musical
